I picked a smoothie! A Chocolate, Coconut & Banana - Green Smoothie to be exact.
It was creamy, thick and delicious!
I used a technique of refrigerating the canned coconut milk overnight to solidify the milk solids. I was going to just use the solids but since the bananas were frozen, the consistency was way too thick. I thinned it out with the coconut water in the bottom of the can.
Infused with antioxidant-rich cacao and spinach, this filling treat is great anytime!
Chocolate, Coconut & Banana - Green Smoothie Recipe
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 1 can organic, unsweetened coconut milk (refrigerating overnight is optional)
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 scoop protein powder (I used DoTerra V-Shake)
- 1 tablespoon cacao powder
Combine all ingredients in a blender and serve cold. Enjoy!
